Lanarkshire Screen Locations
Lanarkshire Screen Locations (LSL) is based within North Lanarkshire Council and is part of the Scottish
Locations Network. This network is made up of seven film commissions and thirteen council based film
liaison offices. LSL works on behalf of both North and South Lanarkshire Councils and supports the
region’s ambition to create sustainable economic and social growth through film production.
Lanarkshire is an attractive location for film due to its mixture of urban and rural settings and good
transport links. LSL deals with all film location enquiries, and aims to secure the relevant permissions
for filming, access, road closures and provides suggestions for suitable locations.
