We started here 30 years ago and it was down to availability of factory space and
grants at that time. Lanarkshire in Scotland is our home. And it’s home for almost
everyone who works here.
So not surprisingly, we have a great sense of community. One that extends way
beyond the bakery walls. We partner and work with all kinds of local organisations,
groups and individuals across a whole range of community initiatives. And everyone
who works at Border is encouraged and supported to participate in volunteer work.
On top of which we commit 10% of Border’s profits to our Community Support charity
each year, which is then donated to local good causes.
