Support for industrial estates
Through its Industrial Estate Programme, Merton
Council’s Business Team works with Business
Associations and representatives of the borough’s
main industrial estates to deliver services and projects
which improve the physical environment of the
estate – as well as increase trade, business retention
and the attraction of new companies onto the
industrial estates.

Greening Business is a free service for businesses
that gives advice to help save money, reduce energy
and waste. Greening Business Advisors can visit
business premises to review a company’s energy
and waste management- and work with the
business to draw up an action plan to help
implement an agreed energy saving and waste
management programme.

Apprenticeships are work-based skills training - for
both young people and adults - that are designed
around the needs of the company. The Government is
