An innovative approach to regeneration The CouncilŐs approach to regenerating Manchester revolves around five key areas: - Creating robust partnerships - Developing Strategic Regeneration Frameworks covering the whole of the city - Delivering excellent public services - Promoting excellence in design and planning - Creating an outstanding public area An area based approach to regeneration The key to the transformation of Manchester is to translate these aspirations, plans and targets for local areas. This is guided through five Strategic Regeneration Frameworks (SRFs) which direct regeneration in the north, east, central, south and Wythenshawe areas of the city.
