M etroshuttle, the largest free city centre bus network in the UK, runs on three circular routes. The low-floor shuttle buses are easy to spot around town as they run every five to ten minutes on the colour-coded routes Ð orange, green and purple. All the services run from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday. The orange and green services also operate from 7am to 6pm on Sundays. Metroshuttle links all the main shopping and business areas with the city centreÕs key bus, train and tram stations and dozens of car parks. Metrolink trams can also be used to travel between eight city centre stops Ð including Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. If you have caught a train from a station in Greater Manchester to the city centre you can use your ticket to travel on any Metrolink service between Manchester Victoria and G-Mex for free.
