Shearway Business Park
Micro-businesses in Shepway and
the surrounding area have been
receiving a helping hand developing
and growing their companies thanks
to an innovative incubation service
provided by Channel Chamber of
Commerce at Shearway Business
Park. The starter-office ‘incubation’
package allows micro businesses
to rent low-cost, fully-equipped
workspaces with an easy-in easyout
licence agreement.
Based at the Shepway Business
Centre on the Shearway Business
Park – (adjacent to the M20 junction
13 and 10 minutes from the
Eurotunnel terminal), business
and ICT support services can also
be accessed from the Chamber’s
in-house team. In 2006 Channel
Chamber were one of the few private
sector organisations in the South
East to obtain support from The
Business Incubation Development
(BID) Fund which provides long term
support for start up or early stage
businesses in some of the UK’s
most deprived areas.
