Temple Waterfront 

Comprising Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham, Rochester and Strood, Medway is the largest urban area in the South East outside of London. The Medway economy is worth around £2.8bn per year and contains more than 13,000 businesses. Medway is also part of the Thames Gateway in North Kent and has several major regeneration projects underway. 
Leading MedwayÕs renaissance 
Medway has already witnessed successful regeneration with the creation of Chatham Maritime and St MaryÕs Island. An inspection in summer 2009 by the Audit Commission awarded MedwayÕs regeneration service, Medway Renaissance, a two-star ÔgoodÕ rating. No local authority in England had ever received a higher score. An independent assessment by the 4Ps local government consultancy puts Medway Renaissance in the top 10% of UK regeneration units. 
Flowing riverside developments 
Internationally renowned architect Sir Terry Farrell was appointed MedwayÕs
