Ecologia, a consultant and contractor in contaminated land and ground water remediation,was founded in 2000 at Kent Science Park. The facilities and space available at Kent Science Park have allowed the company to grow
from a start-up with three employees to a company with more than 50 staff.
Ecologias in-house team of qualified scientists, engineers, chemists and geologists has the broad range of expertise required to tackle a wide range of clients environmental needs. The company intends toexpand within Kent Science Park and has plans for a new international headquarters at the site. Ecologia was named ÔSwale Company of the Year at the 2007 Swale Business Awards and won the 2007 Environment Award for Kent Business

Investment promotion agency Locatein Kent worked closely with the Fresca Group and Robert Montgomery to assist in plans to develop the UKs most hi-tech greenhouse complex. A massive £80m is being invested at the 91-hectare site near Monkton in Thanet, on land previously owned by Robert Montgomery Ltd. Once the project is completed it is expected to create over 550 jobs. The site, named Thanet Earth, will ev
