The fleet of airport taxis operates from the eastern end of the terminal building with a city black cabs rank. International arrivals is situated at the west end of the building and domestic arrivals at the east. Recent developments at the airport include the construction of six new aircraft stands to help accommodate additional flights, and the reconfiguration of check-in and domestic arrivals in order to provide additional space. A major project to double the size of the departure lounge and expand the security search area is underway. The £40m investment will provide new retail and catering outlets and more seating and circulation space.
