Edinburgh Airport Edinburgh Airport is Scotland's capital airport, with a worldwide reputation and worldwide connections.  Over 40 airlines serve over 80 destinations, and over eight million business and leisure passengers pass through the airport a year - numbers which are set to grow as the airport develops new international connections to the USA, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Finlandand, Norway. 

The most popular destinations are in Spain, although Paris, Amsterdam, Belfast and Dublin are also longstanding favourites. New York is the most popular long-haul destination, and the top domestic destinations include Birmingham, Belfast, Manchester and the London airports. 

Edinburgh Airport is situated to the north-west of the city, just off the A8 and is approximately 20 minutes by car from the city centre.  

There are three public car parking areas within the airport offering a total of approximately 6,400 spaces. There is also a passenger drop-off area in the forecourt area. 


Getting to/from the airport

Nearest rail stations - Edinburgh Waverley, Haymarket and Inverkeithing. 

Edinburgh Shuttle is a door to door service between Edinburgh Airport and anywhere within a specified City Centre zone.  The fleet of 7-seatermini coaches run daily every 15-30minutes. For more information visitwww.edinburghshuttle.com

Lothian Buses' number 35 service connects the airport to the Gyle, Fountainbridge and Ocean Terminal in Leith.  Stagecoach runs the Airdirect 747 service to Ferry TollPark and Ride and Inverkeithing railway station. The journey time is approximately 25 minutes. Airlink 100 is a fast and frequent bus service operated by Lothian Buses,and is a quick and cost effective wayto reach the centre of Edinburgh. It runs  to and from Waverley Bridgeand takes around 25 minutes.
