City Centre Princes Street is probably the most famous shopping street in Edinburgh and home to the equally renowned department store, Jenners, opposite the Scott Monument. And there are plenty of bars and bistros in between to keep your shopping energy levels at maximum. The Grassmarket is great day and night with pubs and shops aplenty. Cockburn Street, off the Royal Mile, is great for young, funky clothes, photo galleries and record stores.
